Welcome to Addaville Elementary and a new school year. I want to take this opportunity to reintroduce you to Addaville Elementary, a “School of Excellence”. We all realize that it is wonderful to have the Ohio Department of Education rating of “Excellent” for five years in a row, it is even better to be a “School of Excellence”. Both apply to Addaville Elementary.

    Being a “School of Excellence” has many definitions. It is having parents fell a strong sense of welcome and warmth when they enter Addaville Elementary. It is knowing that the school is safe and secure for all students. It is being part of a staff that supports each other and works to fulfill our visions of “Helping All Children To Achieve More”.

    Addaville Elementary has also received the honor of being a “School of Promise” for six consecutive years and we are hopeful that we will be selected for the seventh year very soon.

    I truly believe we are an excellent example of public education at its finest. This is a testament to the dedication and caring individuals who represent Addaville Elementary from the bus drivers, custodians, cooks, and secretary to our teaching staff. So what makes  Addaville Elementary special is the people who are dedicated to fulfilling the mission of providing quality educational opportunities for all students. To address this mission Addaville Elementary will: provide a safe and secure environment where students can enjoy learning; stress the importance of rigorous academic work; recognize the worth, dignity, and leadership capacity of every individual; focus on quality, research based instructional programs; and work in partnership with the Addaville community.

    On behalf of the school and its staff, we invite you to become a part of the exciting things happening at Addaville Elementary. We invite you and encourage you to be an active partner here at Addaville Elementary through volunteering in a classroom, joining the PTO, and attending the various special events.
